Hall of Fame Issues Robbins, Trucker Compilations

Marty Robbins Live Classics, which collects 21 Grand Ole Opry performances from 1951-1960, was released Tuesday (June 5) by the Country Music Hall of Fame and Audium Entertainment. In addition to Robbins' favorites such as "El Paso" and "Singing the Blues," the album includes songs Robbins never recorded for commercial release including “Ain’t You Ashamed” and “Good Night Cincinnati, Good Mornin’ Tennessee.” In tandem with Audium and Diesel Only Records, the Hall of Fame also released on Tuesday Truck Driver’s Boogie: Big Rig Hits 1939-1969. The 20-track compilation includes 18-wheeler anthems such as Dave Dudley’s “Six Days on the Road” and rarities by the likes of Dick Reinhart & His Lone Star Boys and Joe “Cannonball” Lewis.
