The George Strait Country Music Festival, featuring Alan Jackson, Lee Ann Womack, Brad Paisley, Lonestar, Sara Evans and Asleep at the Wheel, wraps up this weekend in Texas, the headliner's home state. The tour kicked off March 24 in Tampa and ends with sold-out shows in San Antonio on Saturday (June 9) and Dallas on Sunday (June 10). The Strait festival racked up $90 million in its first three years. Ray Waddell, who covers the touring for Billboard, predicts that this year's outing will gross around $30 million. 06/08/01
