Dixie Chicks fiddler and vocalist Martie Seidel reportedly has accepted a marriage proposal from Gareth MaGuire. A college professor in Ireland, MaGuire is said to have popped the question "while in his home country a little while back," according to the Tennessean. A Dixie Chicks spokewoman would not confirm the engagement. 08/13/01
