Garth Brooks will perform "The Dance" in tribute to Dale Earnhardt during the NASCAR Winston Cup Series Awards Ceremony Friday (Nov. 30). Earnhardt, seven-time Winston Cup champion, died Feb. 18 from injuries received in a last-lap collision at the Daytona 500. The annual ceremony, held in the Grand Ballroom of New York's Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, honors the newly crowned champion of the racing season. Jeff Gordon will receive his fourth series points championship. The awards presentations will be televised on TNT at 8 p.m. ET/PT. 11/27/01
