Jeff Carson suffered a crushed verterbra Thursday (Feb. 7) in a snow sledding accident at his home in Franklin, Tenn., near Nashville. He was hospitalized in stable condition at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Carson and his wife, Kim, were snow sledding when he hit a tree. Kim was not on the sled. Doctors are running tests to determine whether Carson will need back surgery. A Scottsdale, Ariz., performance on Saturday (Feb. 9) has been cancelled, and a spokesman says Carson could be sidelined for four to six weeks.
