Toby Keith Debuts at No. 1 on 'Billboard' 200

Courtesy of a smash hit and endless public appearances, Toby Keith's Unleashed sold more copies -- around 338,000 -- than any other album in America last week. Only eight country artists have debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200, which tracks sales of all albums, regardless of genre.

Of course, Keith is No. 1 on the country albums chart as well, followed by Kenny Chesney's No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems and the O Brother, Where Art Thou? soundtrack. Last week's No. 1 album, Darryl Worley's I Miss My Friend, falls to No. 4, followed by Alan Jackson's Drive, Martina McBride's Greatest Hits and SheDaisy's Knock on the Sky, at No. 5, 6 and 7, respectively.

Keith's 2001 album, Pull My Chain, rebounds into the Top 10, at No. 8, ahead of Tim McGraw's Greatest Hits and Brad Paisley's Part II, at No. 9 and No. 10.

Notable debuts include Joe Nichols' Man With a Memory, featuring the hit, "The Impossible"; Hank Williams' The Ultimate Collection at No. 32 and Charlie Daniels' lively Redneck Fiddlin' Man, at No. 40.

There's more of "The Good Stuff" at No. 1 on the country singles chart, as Chesney's single marks its third week at the top. Below him, Keith holds firm at No. 2 with "Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue (The Angry American)." Gary Allan's "The One" remains at No. 3, the Dixie Chicks' "Long Time Gone" moves up a spot to No. 4 and McGraw's "Unbroken" jumps from No. 8 to No. 5.

Worley's "I Miss My Friend," Andy Griggs' "Tonight I Wanna Be Your Man," and Lonestar's "Not a Day Goes By" sit at Nos. 6, 7 and 8. Sara Evans' "I Keep Looking" and Tracy Byrd's "Ten Rounds With Jose Cuervo" break into the Top 10, at No. 9 and No. 10.

Further down, Michael Peterson ("Drink, Swear, Steal and Lie") resurfaces at No. 55 with "Modern Man"; Peterson is now signed to Monument. Other debuts include Shannon Lawson's "Dream Your Way to Me," Dusty Drake's "And Then" and Aaron Tippin's "If Her Lovin' Don't Kill Me" at Nos. 58, 59 and 60.
