Hank Williams Jr. and Hank Williams III will perform onstage together for the first time during a Jan. 4 appearance on the Grand Ole Opry. The father and son are making the special appearance at the Ryman Auditorium to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Hank Williams’ death. Williams died on New Year’s Day 1953 -- at the age of 29 -- while en route to a concert in Canton, Ohio. CMT will telecast the Jan. 4 performance on Grand Ole Opry Live. 11/22/02
