Alabama Honored by AMA’s Award of Merit

Alabama will accept the Award of Merit during the American Music Awards on Jan. 13. Reba McEntire will present the band with the award. Previous winners of the Award of Merit include Johnny Cash, Kenny Rogers, Loretta Lynn, Elvis Presley, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Tammy Wynette and Garth Brooks. 1/2/03
