Charts: Gary Allan Scores No. 1

Gary Allan has already recorded eight songs for his next album, but the Californian's "Man to Man" jumps three notches this week to hit No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart. On Billboard's Top Country Albums, little has changed as the Dixie Chicks spend yet another week at No. 1 with Home.

On the singles chart, the Chicks' "Travelin' Soldier" spends a second week at No. 2 while Blake Shelton's "The Baby" slips to No. 3 following three weeks at the top of the chart. Joe Nichols' "Brokenheartsville" takes a three-place leap to No. 4, Mark Wills' "19 Somethin'" slips one notch to No. 5 and Alan Jackson's "That'd Be Alright" climbs two positions to No. 6. Falling two slots each are Terri Clark's "I Just Wanna Be Mad" (to No. 7) and Aaron Lines' "You Can't Hide Beautiful" (to No. 8). Kenny Chesney's "Big Star" jumps one spot to No. 9 while former tourmate Tim McGraw's "She's My Kind of Rain" moves from No. 13 to round out the Top 10.

Lonestar has the highest-debuting single of the week with "My Front Porch Looking In" entering the chart at No. 48. Other debuts for the week include Trace Adkins' "Then They Do" (No. 52), Tracy Byrd's "The Truth About Men" (No. 55), Chad Brock's "That Was Us" (No. 58) and comic Rodney Carrington's "Don't Look Now" (No. 60).

Looking at the country albums chart, nothing has changed at the top. With the Chicks' Home at No. 1, other titles holding steady are Shania Twain's Up! (No. 2), George Strait's For the Last Time: Live From the Astrodome (No. 3) and Tim McGraw and the Dancehall Doctors (No. 4). Johnny Cash's American IV: The Man Comes Around makes another impressive leap this week, moving four spaces to No. 5. Faith Hill's Cry climbs one position to No. 6, Toby Keith's Unleashed dips one slot to No. 7 and Shelton's The Dreamer slides three notches to No. 8. Chesney's No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems moves back up one number to No. 9, and Nichols' Man With a Memory moves to No. 10 from No. 13.

The only album to debut this week is the all-star compilation Pure Country Classics: The #1 Hits. Notably, significant sales growth was reported for Bering Strait's self-titled debut album after the native Russians were profiled on the CBS news show, 60 Minutes. The band's album rockets from No. 43 to No. 17.
