Jennifer Hanson ("Beautiful Goodbye") will perform a benefit concert for the Officers' Wives' Club at Fort Campbell, Ky., on March 29. Funds will go to the OWC Welfare Fund, a fund established to aid families of deployed soldiers. About 17,000 soldiers from Fort Campbell have been deployed to Kuwait while many more are still serving their country in Afghanistan. Hanson said, "No matter what side you stand on concerning possible war, the bottom line is these men and women in our military are doing their job and living up to their commitment. I am going to support them and honor them the best way I can -- by helping the families who are waiting here at home." 03/18/03
