A protection order against Grand Ole Opry star Bill Anderson has been dropped, but aggravated assault charges remain following a March 25 incident in Wilson County, Tenn. Anderson’s girlfriend, Deborah Marlin, claims that Anderson tried to injure her with his car after an argument over money. Marlin agreed to dismiss the protection order, a court document issued to protect one person from abuse or harassment from another person by limiting contact between the two individuals. 04/04/03
