Rockabilly guitarist Paul Peek, a former member of Gene Vincent's Blue Caps, died April 3 of cirrhosis of the liver at his home in Lithonia, Ga. He was 63. Peek appeared in the classic rock 'n' roll movie The Girl Can't Help It, starring Jayne Mansfield. A working musician most of his life, he released more than a dozen sides of his own and opened shows for Hank Snow and Elvis Presley in the 1950s.
