Colonel Lowell E. Graham, Commander/Conductor of the United States Air Force Band, known as "America's Band," recently invited country's Janie Fricke to perform with them in Washington, D.C. Held on February 21st, the 1999 Guest Artist Series has been titled the Diva series with performances by other celebrities such as Melba Moore, Connie Stevens and Nell Carter. The series is presented annually during February and March on Sunday afternoons.
