"A Musical Tribute to John Denver," the concert series first performed last year in Aspen, Colorado, by the late singer's top band members, will be held again this year in Aspen, Los Angeles and D.C. Proceeds from the five different concerts will go to various charities, among them the National Dyslexia Foundation, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Challenge Aspen, an organization benefitting the disabled. John Denver died October 12, 1997, in a private plane crash.
