Burn, Jo Dee Messina's third album, debuted at No. 1 this week on Billboard's country albums chart. She learned of the news in a conference call with Curb Records executives Dennis Hannon and Ben Curb. The usually bubbling Messina was reserved in her celebration. "I can't jump up and down because I have to see it in writing to believe it," she said, via her publicist. The first single from the new disc, "That's the Way," is at No. 5 on the country singles chart. Messina, who recently starred in her own CMT All Access special, is planning to take some time off beginning in October to prepare for an upcoming headlining tour.
