Stars From Across the Entertainment World to Appear Live on the 'CMT 2004 Flame Worthy Video Music Awards'

Alan Jackson and Montgomery Gentry Added to Live Performance Lineup

The lineup for the CMT 2004 Flame Worthy Video Music Awards continues to heat up with the addition of country music's hottest stars and celebrities from across the entertainment world. Superstar Alan Jackson and country power-duo Montgomery Gentry will fire up the audience with their musical performances at the CMT 2004 Flame Worthy Video Music Awards, live on Wednesday, April 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CMT.

Appearing with host Dolly Parton will be presenters Randy Quaid (Kingpin), John Corbett (Sex and the City), Carson Kressley (Queer Eye for the Straight Guy), NASCAR driver Jamie McMurray, and from CMT'S Cowboy U, Judd Leffew and Rocco Wachman. Country stars presenting awards include Shania Twain, Sara Evans, Dierks Bentley, Joe Nichols, Blake Shelton and Julie Roberts.

Jackson and Montgomery Gentry have been added to the already power-packed musical performance line up of Dolly Parton, Alison Krauss & Union Station, Sheryl Crow, Toby Keith, Martina McBride, Rascal Flatts and Keith Urban.

In its third year, the CMT Flame Worthy Video Music Awards has rapidly become a fan favorite. The CMT 2003 Flame Worthy Video Music Awards premiere is the highest rated telecast in CMT history among viewers ages 18-49. On the 2003 premiere date, more than 8.3 million viewers watched the live awards show and related Flame Worthy programs.
