Nickel Creek/Glen Phillips Album Set for Release

Mutual Admiration Society, a collaborative album by Nickel Creek and singer-songwriter Glen Phillips, will be released July 13. The members of Nickel Creek contacted Phillips, a founding member of pop band Toad the Wet Sprocket, via e-mail through a mutual friend and recorded the album together in December 2000. The following year, they toured together to raise money for the American Red Cross. Nickel Creek and Phillips are expected to tour together again in late July. Now signed to Lost Highway Records, Phillips also sings on the debut album from Nickel Creek’s Sean Watkins.
