Deana Carter, 38, is expecting her first child in September with her filmmaker boyfriend Chris Hicky, 30. Carter is currently recording a new album scheduled for an early 2005 release on Vanguard Records. Hicky's film Blue Horses, which he wrote and directed, is based on a short story and will premiere at the Las Vegas Film Festival in June. He's also in pre-production on the feature film The Grace of Jake.
