Wilson's Bodyguard Busted With Guns, Ammo

Gretchen Wilson's bodyguard at the CMA Awards was arrested by Metropolitan Nashville police and cited for unlawful weapons possession. Daniel Lee Rhoades, 38, of Olive Branch, Miss., left five guns and hundreds of rounds of ammunition in his SUV that was parked in the Opry Mills parking lot during CMA festivities Tuesday night (Nov. 9) at the Grand Ole Opry House. Rhoades was also cited for acting as a security guard without a license, and he had no permits for any of his guns. Rhoades told a Nashville TV station he forgot to remove the weapons from his SUV after visiting a shooting range a few days earlier. He was arrested while the awards show was taking place.
