Lynn Anderson Enters Not Guilty Pleas

Lynn Anderson’s attorney has entered pleas of not guilty to three charges in connection with her Jan. 24 arrest in Taos, N.M. Anderson is charged with shoplifting for allegedly stealing a Harry Potter DVD from a local food and drug store. However, the 57-year-old singer also faces additional charges of battery on a police officer and resisting or obstructing an officer after she struck an officer in the arm while she was being led to a patrol car. Anderson sought medical treatment outside New Mexico after the pleas were entered Friday (Jan. 28). Anderson’s attorney described her as a “loved and respected member of the Taos community.”
