John Hiatt will release his 21st album, Master of Disaster, on June 21 on New West Records. Produced by Jim Dickinson, it was recorded at Ardent Studios in Memphis and features Dickinson's sons -- drummer Cody and guitarist Luther -- who are members of the North Mississippi Allstars. Legendary bassist David Hood also plays on the album. The North Mississippi Allstars will serve as his Hiatt's band and occasional opening act for a tour that kicks off June 23 in Albany, N.Y. Dates for the coast-to-coast tour are booked through early August.
