Vince Gill, Tracy Lawrence, Brenda Lee, Tanya Tucker and Lee Roy Parnell were among those who showed up Thursday night (Feb. 23) in Nashville for the auction of 10-foot-tall guitar sculptures painted by visual artists and actual electric guitars painted by music artists. Big & Rich hosted the GuitarTown auction gala at BMI's offices on Music Row. The total for the night is still being determined, but the event was expected to raise $500,000 for the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the United Way of Nashville. Others attending the auction included Chely Wright, Rosie Flores, Steve Cropper and MuzikMafia members Two Foot Fred, Shannon Lawson and Rachel Kice.
