Martina McBride's new album, Waking Up Laughing, will be released April 3 on RCA Records. She produced the album and co-wrote the first single, "Anyway." She also co-wrote two other songs on the album. In addition, she has announced a tour beginning April 12 in Kansas City, Mo., which continues through mid-July. Opening acts are Little Big Town and Rodney Atkins (although Atkins is only scheduled on the tour through mid June). "I'm especially happy about being joined by Little Big Town and Rodney Atkins," McBride says. "We put a lot of thought into which artists to include on this tour, and I really feel like this show is going to be a treat for my fans from beginning to end. I can't wait to get out there on the road."
