Refried Beans
For your Mexican meals
2 cups cooked pinto beans
1/2 cup bacon drippings
1/4 pound sharp cheddar cheese, grated
1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
Mash beans. Melt bacon drippings, add beans. Cook a few minutes until dry around edge. Add cheese and stir until cheese melts. Sprinkle onions on top and serve.
