LOS ANGELES -- Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley and the Eagles are among the early winners at the 50th annual Grammy Awards show taking place Sunday night (Feb. 10) in Los Angeles.

Underwood's "Before He Cheats" was named best female country vocal performance. "Before He Cheats," written by Josh Kear and Chris Tompkins, was also named best country song.

Urban's recording of "Stupid Boy" was named best male country vocal performance, and Paisley's "Throttleneck" was voted best country instrumental performance. The Eagles won the award for best country performance by a duo or group with vocal for "How Long."

Only one country award -- best country album -- will be announced during the CBS telecast. However, several other were awards announced prior to the broadcast.

Best Southern, Country or Bluegrass Gospel Album: Salt of the Earth, Ricky Skaggs and the Whites

Best Traditional Folk Album: Dirt Farmer, Levon Helm

Best Contemporary Folk/Americana Album: Washington Square Serenade, Steve Earle

Best Zydeco or Cajun Music Album: Live! Worldwide, Terrance Simien & the Zydeco Experience

Best Polka Album: Come Share the Wine, Jimmy Sturr and His Orchestra

Best Historical Album: The Live Wire -- Woody Guthrie in Performance 1949, Woody Guthrie
