Alan Jackson has been selected to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2010. Jackson is among 28 recipients chosen by the Hollywood Walk of Fame Committee from the fields of motion pictures, television, recording and live performance/theater. Other musicians on the list include Bryan Adams, the Funk Brothers, Chaka Khan, Van Morrison, Latin songwriter-producer Marco Antonio Solis, Ringo Starr, ZZ Top and the late Roy Orbison. The Hollywood Walk of Fame celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2010.
