Clint Black, Other Cast Members Attend Nashville Premiere of Flicka 2

Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment held its world premiere of Flicka 2, a direct-to-DVD movie, Tuesday evening (April 27) at Nashville’s Belcourt Theater. Among the principals attending the event were country singer Clint Black, who has a co-starring role, director Michael Damian, screenwriter Jen Robinson and supporting actors Emily Tennant and Reilly Dolman. The movie continues the cute kid/noble horse theme that began with the 1943 film, My Friend Flicka. Damian told the near-capacity crowd of invited guests that Black, besides being able to ride a horse well, was “really funny,” a judgment his film role seemed to bear out. Although Black doesn’t sing on screen, he did write and perform the closing song, “A Beautiful Day.” The DVD goes on sale May 4 exclusively at Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club and walmart.com.
