OFFSTAGE: Picture Yourself at the 2012 CMA Music Festival for Free

(CMT Offstage keeps a 24/7 watch on everything that’s happening with country music artists behind the scenes and out of the spotlight.)

Do you have that perfect photo of your favorite artist? The one picture that you took at a CMA Music Festival that is good enough to win you tickets to next year’s festival? Start digging through that old shoebox of pictures from the very first 1972 Fan Fair or scroll through your external hard drive full of shots from last year and see if you have a few images that are good enough to enter into the festival’s photo contest. Prizes include things like a two Gold Circle four-day tickets to the 2012 festival and/or a chance to see your photo printed right on the commemorative tickets for this year’s festival. “Everyone that has attended CMA Music Festival in the past has taken hundreds of photos that captured their experience,” said Country Music Association CEO Steve Moore. And don’t think it’s just shots of Carrie Underwood in a vintage T-shirt or Dierks Bentley crowd surfing that they are looking for. The kinds of pictures the CMA is hoping to find through this contest are the ones that capture images of fans hanging out with other fans, celebrity sporting events or even the oldies but goodies like the Texas-based Chuck Wagon Gang catering company serving meals at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds. Good luck.
