Oh, that lucky, lucky sidewalk. To get a kiss from country music's favorite Aussie, Keith Urban. He gave the concrete a big ol' kiss on Sunday (May 15) when his Music City Walk of Fame star-shaped medallion was unveiled in Nashville. With his wife Nicole Kidman by his side, he said, "Good Lord, it's quite surreal after all these years." Then he talked a bit about his not-so-easy road to stardom. "So it will be 20 years next year since I moved here, and I've had the absolute lowest lows of my life and the complete highest of highest of highs; (they) have all happened in Nashville," he said. As for anyone who wants that same kind of fame bad enough, he thinks it's very possible. "It's absolutely doable. If some little kid from some small nowhere town in the middle of Australia can do it, you absolutely can do it, too." Urban and country legend Bill Anderson were the 49th and 50th artists to be added to the Walk of Fame. I wonder who will be next.
