Kenny Rogers Announces Autobiography

Kenny Rogers' first-ever autobiography, Luck or Something Like It, will be published Oct. 2 by William Morrow. In the book, he writes about growing up in poverty in the housing projects of Houston and his father's alcoholism. Rogers also details the breakup of his band, the First Edition, and the challenges he faced while launching his solo career. He also delves into his professional partnerships with Dolly Parton and Lionel Richie, as well as his five marriages. He has won three Grammys, five CMA awards and eight ACM awards. He has recorded 65 albums and is ranked No. 8 on the RIAA's list of the top-selling male artists of all time.
