Lonestar Releasing New Album With Lead Vocalist Richie McDonald

Lonestar will release Life as We Know It, the band's first album since the return of lead singer Richie McDonald, on June 4. Released by the band's 4 Star Records imprint in partnership with the Orchard, it also marks Lonestar's first album release in more than three years. McDonald was Lonestar's lead vocalist on a string of No. 1 hits, including "Come Cryin' to Me," "Smile," "What About Now" and "Tell Her." "Amazed" spent eight weeks atop the country chart in 1999, and "I'm Already There" enjoyed a six-week stint at No. 1. McDonald exited the band in 2007 and returned in 2012 for its 20th anniversary. "Maybe Someday," the first single from the new album, was written by McDonald, Lonestar keyboardist Dean Sams and veteran songwriters Frank Myers and Billy Montana.
