OFFSTAGE: Artists Walk Away With CMT Music Awards Gift Bags
(CMT Offstage keeps a 24/7 watch on everything that's happening with country music artists behind the scenes and out of the spotlight.)
Even if an artist didn't go home from Wednesday night's (June 5) CMT Music Awards with a big silver belt buckle, they still had the opportunity to go home with a nice little prize. Actually, it's not so little. The gift bags were specially crafted for all of the hosts, presenters and performers and were packed with essentials (bourbon is essential, right?) from local Nashville companies along with national brands.
Here's a peek at what was inside each bag:
Olive & Sinclair chocolate bars
A bottle of Belle Meade Bourbon
Handmade coffee sack clutch bag from Couture Coffeebags
Piggy Pop candied bacon popcorn from the Loveless Café
A bronze cuff bracelet or wide silver hoop earrings from Margaret Ellis Jewelry
Music City Suds handmade candle, lip balm and soap
A copy of Nashville Lifestyles magazine
Colorfully retro POP phone from Native Union
Teroforma Whiskey Stones (which work very well with the Belle Meade Bourbon)
The Bang Candy Company handmade caramels
This Bar Saves Lives snack bars
Nashville Field Guide books from Wildsam
Whisper Creek Tennessee Sipping Crème
Sun Records reissue vinyl from Third Man Records
Southern Fried Design Barn greeting cards
