OFFSTAGE: Joe Diffie Calls In Keith Urban, Brad Paisley and More

Joe Diffie is a smart, smart man. He has a brand new song -- "Girl Riding Shotgun" -- and in his savvy effort to launch the video, he enlisted some fellow country singers to kind of sing him back into the fame of his heyday. With the help of the hit Jason Aldean song "1994," a new generation became aware of Diffie's vast discography. Diffie even tweeted Aldean a link to the star-studded video when it premiered. "Hey @Jason_Aldean -- What do you think of my response to 1994? Are you a fan of #GirlRidinShotgun," he wrote. Then later, "Humbled that so many stars had a part in my new video! Thx @KeithUrban @blakeshelton @ThomasRhett #GirlRidinShotgun." Stars like Keith Urban, Toby Keith, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton and Thomas Rhett all appear on Diffie's iPhone screen in the beginning of the video, singing along with Aldean's tune, asking the real Joe Diffie to please stand up.
