Shania Twain says she has written enough new material to begin making another album, but now she is trying to settle on a producer.

In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Twain cited the music of pop star Lana Del Rey, as well as Robert Plant and Alison Krauss' album Raising Sand, as two examples of production that she finds appealing.

"So that goes to show you how lost I am as far as production direction because I'm listening to such a broad spectrum," she said.

In addition, she noted her new songs may be "less upbeat" than her past work but that she's aiming to stay positive in her lyrics.

Twain's self-titled debut album, released in 1993, was produced by Harold Shedd and Norro Wilson. She acclaimed international success in 1995 with The Woman in Me, produced by her former husband, Robert John "Mutt" Lange, known for his work with Def Leppard and AC/DC, among others. The Woman in Me netted hits such as "Any Man of Mine" and "Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under?"

Twain and Lange married in 1993, and she filed for divorce in 2008. Twain's prior album of new material, Up!, was produced by Lange and released in 2002. She married Swiss businessman Frederic Thiebaud in 2011.

Twain began performing in Las Vegas in December 2012 with Shania: Still the One, a production at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. She begins her next run of 22 performances at the venue on Oct. 15, running through Dec. 14.
