Luke Bryan is mourning the loss of his brother-in-law, Ben Lee Cheshire, who died on Saturday (Nov. 29). Cheshire is the husband of Bryan's late sister, Kelly, who passed away suddenly in 2007 at age 39.

Cheshire was 46 and lived in Leesburg, Georgia, according to an obituary published in the Albany Herald. He owned Southland Appraisal Service and was actively involved in the Lee County Recreation Department. He is survived by three children, his parents and one sister.

Bryan is currently in Georgia with his family and will not be attending the CMT Artists of the Year special in Nashville on Tuesday (Dec. 2), according to his publicist.
