Miranda Brings Very Special Guest to Dallas Show

Singer Calls the Texas Concert a "Dream Come True"

Miranda Lambert took her “Little Red Wagon” down to her home state of Texas Thursday night (March 12), and she brought along a special surprise guest, husband Blake Shelton.

"Still on cloud 9 from last night! Thanks @blakeshelton for surprising everyone in Dallas! #hubby #home #family #Texasproud"

Shelton’s unscheduled appearance was undoubtedly a thrill for fans. Once onstage, Shelton praised Lambert, calling her “the most important country artist in music today” before launching into a performance of his first No. 1 hit “Austin.” Lambert even joined in on the ballad, singing harmony.

The Texas native seemed to be thrilled about her return trip home, describing the emotional show as a “dream come true.”

"Thank you so much Dallas Tx! There is nothing like playing at HOME! What an incredible and emotional night. Truly a dream come true. And thanks Blake for taking this pic #AmericanAirlinesCenter #Texasproud #home #cheers"

Tourmate Sunny Sweeney also shared a pic of herself, Lambert and Gwen Sebastian at the show, thanking the Grammy winner for “supporting chicks in country music.”

Lambert will return to the Lone Star state on April 19 to perform at the 50th annual ACM Awards held in Arlington, Texas. The five-time ACM female vocalist of the year leads the list of nominees with eight nominations, including one for entertainer of the year.
