Florida Georgia Line: Behind the Scenes of "Sippin’ on Fire" Video

Duo’s Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard, Director Marc Klasfeld Talk About the Project

Florida Georgia Line is burning up the charts yet again following the release of their latest single, “Sippin’ on Fire.”

Not surprisingly, the duo is currently sitting inside Billboard’s Top 20 on multiple charts, including No.6 on the digital downloads chart and No. 13 on the country songs chart.

Earlier this year, Florida Georgia Line’s Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard and director Marc Klasfeld took fans behind the scenes of their desert video shoot where the steamy track was being brought to life on the screen.

“The idea for this video is a very surreal idea where they’re performing in the desert around this ring of fire,” Klasfeld said. “And smoke comes out from the fire, and the smoke turns into all of these surreal images.

“We’re just trying to capture the intensity of this song,” Kelley said. “It’s a very sexy song.”

Florida Georgia Line will likely perform the song Sunday (April 19) during the 50th annual Academy of Country Music Awards, where they’re nominated for entertainer of the year.

The duo’s Anything Goes tour revs back up again at the end of the month with Thomas Rhett and Frankie Ballard.
