Brett Eldredge Takes Us to Illinois

Face It, Brett … We’d Follow You Anywhere

Happy “Brett Eldredge Album Release Day!”

Yes, for those of you who thought today was simply Friday, think again. This is a day of celebration for the country star, whose sophomore album Illinois is now available.

And it’s one you’ll want in your collection for sure. Eldredge told The Tennessean that this album “says everything about who I am.” So I’m thinking: a charming, genuine, fun-loving, and sexy dude.

Well, it’s the truth!

It boasts his latest single “Lose My Mind,” and other standouts like the “autobiographical” title-track “Illinois” and “Wanna Be That Song” (which might actually be my personal favorite.)

It’s everything fans could want … and more.

And to make it even more special for fans, Eldredge is flying home to Illinois to do a series of appearances to celebrate the album’s launch, according to The Tennessean.

But the fun doesn’t stop there. On Sunday he flies into Atlantic City to judge the Miss America pageant.

Oh and then there’s his CMT on Tour: Brett Eldredge and Thomas Rhett — Suits & Boots run, which kicks off in late October.

At some point, Eldredge will hopefully catch a nap, but he says he wouldn’t trade his hectic schedule for anything.

“This is something that people would die for, to have this opportunity,” he tells the outlet. “This is a job, but it’s a dang fun one. I just remind myself that this is something worth fighting for.”
