Our lives will suck without her. But, Kelly Clarkson needs to rest her voice, so she's had to cancel six shows so far this fall. Doctor's orders.

Clarkson broke the news via Twitter on Friday (Sept. 11).

The canceled shows include the ones this month in Virginia, Florida, North Carolina and New Jersey.

"I can't wait to get healthy and see y'all back on the road soon. I hate canceling ... and I'm truly sorry to my fans that have been excited to see this show," she explained.

And then to make sure her fans knew how seriously she was taking this, she admitted that doesn't usually do this.

Hopefully, her voice will be healthy enough to kick off the Canadian leg of her tour, which is scheduled to begin Oct. 1.
