Say Yes to the Kristian Bush Theme Song

Wedding Dress TV Series Features His “Forever Now”

When I think of shopping for wedding dresses, Kristian Bush is the last thing on my mind.

Or, I should say, he was.

Now, though, I can’t get the Sugarlander off my mind. That's because he wrote this hopelessly romantic song “Forever Now (Say Yes)” that has been selected as the newest theme song for the reality series Say Yes to the Dress.

(And say what you will about the show, but it is in its 14th season, so there’s that.)

Bush himself is divorced, but it sounds like he still remembers exactly what a wedding day and love and marriage are all about.

When Glamour.com asked Bush what his go-to wedding songs would be for the first dance -- other than this new one, of course -- he had a pretty long list of great choices from the Beatles to the Boss. But the only country song that made it was Lee Brice’s “A Woman Like You.”

"This would be an amazing first dance for a couple that loves country music and also loves an inside joke. It is the sweetest song. I know one of the guys who wrote it, and I get more and more charmed by it every time I hear it played," Bush said of the tune penned by Jon Stone, Phil Barton and Johnny Bulford.

You can hear Bush's "Forever Now (Say Yes)" on his solo debut album Southern Gravity, released last year, and you can hear it every Friday when Say Yes to the Dress airs on TLC.
