The hours leading up to the annual CMT Music Awards are an action-packed time in Nashville, and Cam was one artist who was having a super-busy day.

The country newcomer arrived on the pink carpet in style and posed for photos before stopping to talk to CMT personality Katie Cook.

From there, Cam prepared for Wednesday night’s (June 8) CMT Music Awards performance with Fifth Harmony on a mash-up of her current single “Mayday” and the pop group’s hit, “Work From Home.”
