World Premiere Video: LOCASH's "I Know Somebody"

Roller Skating and Romance Mix in Sweet New Video

Grab your roller skates and get ready for some rink-side romance with the world premiere of LOCASH’s video for “I Know Somebody.”

It’s the classic story we all know and love: shy guy working at the local skating rink has eyes for the beautiful popular girl hanging out with her friends. He wants so badly to grab her hand and steal her away from the equally attractive, popular boy threatening his chances, but life seems to be getting in the way.

But you know how love is: Just when you think you have the ending figured out, it surprises you.

Filmed in Chattanooga, Tennessee, the video has a cinematic quality, thanks to the work of directors Ry and Drew Cox. And while the storyline focuses on the on-screen couple, LOCASH's Chris Lucas and Preston Brust are prominently featured in the video for the song written by Rhett Akins, Ross Copperman and Jeremy Stover.

“I love the retro concept of this video,” Brust says. "I think it’s a breath of fresh air in the midst of some of the more predictable videos that are out there right now, and it fits what the lyrics of the song are saying so well."

See young love blossom in the video.
