Singer/songwriter Hannah Ellis teamed with smash hit songwriter Hillary Lindsey and songwriter/producer to create her new song “That Girl.”

Tony Gates produced and directed the video that Ellis called “nostalgic” and explained revisits all the looks from the cover art of all the songs she had released.

“It made everything feel like it had come full circle,” Ellis said. “It captures the idea that we are all just a sum of our parts, the best and worst of us. I loved revisiting all these looks throughout my career and saying, ‘This is who I am.’”

Ellis said she is “proud of all of it” and knows she’ll always be “that girl.”

After her fans watch the video, Ellis hopes they look in the mirror and love everything about themselves.

“I hope they know there is always space for growth, but the best growth comes from loving and accepting who you are right now,” she said.

Watching the video gave Ellis cold chills.

“It captured exactly the emotions and thoughts that are present in the song,” she said. “It is ‘That Girl’ personified.”
