The Wilkinsons will host the 2001 Canadian Country Music Association awards Monday (Sept. 10) in Calgary. The show airs live at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CMT. The family trio, who dominated last year’s event with four awards, has three nominations in this year’s competition. As part of their hosting duties, the Wilkinsons -- father Steve, daughter Amanda and son Tyler -- will perform a new song, “Paper Doll,” from an album due early next year. After two albums for defunct Giant Records, the group has signed with BNA of the RCA Label Group. Mark Bright and Marty Williams are producing. Also slated to perform on the CCMA show: Chely Wright, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Terri Clark, Ricky Skaggs, Paul Brandt, Anne Murray and Gordon Lightfoot. 09/06/01
