Cash to Receive National Arts Medal

Johnny Cash has been chosen as one of President George W. Bush’s first National Medal of Arts recipients. Bush will present the medals in a ceremony next month to Cash and other honorees including actor Kirk Douglas and cellist Yo-Yo Ma. The National Medal of Arts honor was established in 1984. 3/15/02
