Remember last week's charts? Good. Now you won't have to bother checking out this week's. There has not been the slightest shift within the Top 5 albums. Taylor Swift's self-titled CD stays at No. 1, followed, in order, by Brad Paisley's 5th Gear, Tim McGraw's Let It Go, Carrie Underwood's Some Hearts and Toby Keith's Big Dog Daddy.

And we have the same Top 5 songs again -- although there has been some place-swapping. Still perched on the summit is Kenny Chesney "Never Wanted Nothing More." Rodney Atkins' "These Are My People" edges up one slot to No. 2, displacing Swift's "Teardrops on My Guitar," which slides to No. 3. Striding into the No. 4 niche is Reba McEntire and Kelly Clarkson's "Because of You." It elbows out Keith Urban's "I Told You So," which shrinks to No. 5.

Last week's big breakthrough -- Underwood's "So Small" -- levitates from No. 20 to No. 17. McGraw and Faith Hill's "I Need You" recedes to No. 9 from its previous high point of No. 8.

Three new albums swing aboard this week -- all of them from the Sony BMG stable and titled 16 Biggest Hits. The highest charter in that pack is Alan Jackson (arriving at No. 22), followed at some distance by Dolly Parton (No. 62) and Diamond Rio (No. 63). Cowboy Troy's Black in the Saddle returns to the chart at No. 75.

The unflappable George Strait has the loftiest new song, "How 'Bout Them Cowgirls." It parts the curtains at No. 35. Also waving hello are Trace Adkins' "I Got My Game On" (No. 49), Big & Rich's "Between Raising Hell and Amazing Grace" (No. 57) and Jason Aldean's "Laughed Until We Cried" (No. 58).

Nashville's had more than two weeks of 100-degree-plus heat. Maybe that's why not even records are moving.
