The tour, announced Friday (Nov. 5), begins Jan. 14 in Austin, Texas, and concludes April 9 in Louisville, Ky. It follows a successful and critically-acclaimed tour this year.
Strait and McEntire are nominated at the 44th annual CMA Awards taking place Wednesday (Nov. 10) in Nashville. He received his 24th nomination as male vocalist of the year, an award he’s won five times. His latest album, Twang, is up for album of the year. Five of his previous albums have received that honor.
McEntire is nominated for female vocalist of the year. She has four previous wins in the category.
