OFFSTAGE: For Keith Urban, It's the Slow Cars

(CMT Offstage keeps a 24/7 watch on everything that's happening with country music artists behind the scenes and out of the spotlight.)

I know, I know. To say "the slow cars, the guitars" wouldn't have fit into the message of Keith Urban's "Without You" song lyrics. But as it turns out, those are the ones he digs in real life. The old ones that don't go very fast. "There's something about older cars, particularly, because you have to drive them slow. Then I can really feel the joy of driving, that kind of driving. You cruise, and you see things," he tells ABC's Robin Roberts as he's giving her a tour of what appears to be his driveway full of vintage muscle cars and a pickup truck. If this glimpse into his personal life is any indication of what her In the Spotlight: All Access Nashville special will be like Tuesday night (Nov. 8), I'm absolutely going to watch. He also will talk about his daughter singing a Foster the People song when he wakes her up, how his wife Nicole Kidman is a rare and pure spirit and how "life is very short."
