Wanda Jackson, Former Eagle Don Felder Lead Independent Releases

Bonnie Bishop, Lord Huron, Aaron Watson Also Offer New Albums

Rockabilly icon Wanda Jackson and former Eagles guitarist Don Felder and are among the independent artists releasing new albums on Tuesday (Oct. 9).

Jackson's Unfinished Business features "Tore Down." The project was produced by Justin Townes Earle, who sings on the track "Am I Even a Memory?" Jackson's country hits from the early 1960s include "Right or Wrong" and "In the Middle of a Heartache."

Meanwhile, Felder's Road to Forever is his first solo album in nearly 30 years. Guests include Crosby, Stills & Nash as well as Tommy Shaw, Randy Jackson and more. Among his many achievements, Felder composed the music to the Eagles' "Hotel California."

Other new independent releases include Nashville blues singer-songwriter Bonnie Bishop's Free, roots-influenced band Holly Golightly & the Brokeoff's Sunday Run Me Over, L.A.-based band Lord Huron's Lonesome Dreams, wine importer Kermit Lynch's Donuts & Coffee, a 15th anniversary reissue of the Old 97's' Too Far to Care, Americana duo Darrell Scott and Tim O'Brien's live album We're Usually a Lot Better Than This, the compilation The Essential Mindy Smith and Texas musician Aaron Watson's Real Good Time.
