'CMT After MidNite With Cody Alan' to Launch With Star-Studded Lineup

Garth Brooks, Taylor Swift, Zac Brown Band, Hunter Hayes Among First-Week Guests

Garth Brooks, Taylor Swift, the Zac Brown Band and Hunter Hayes are among the biggest names in country music scheduled to stop in for next week's launch of CMT After MidNite With Cody Alan.

Syndicated by Premiere Networks, the show kicks off with Alan as its new host on Monday (Jan. 6). Airing seven nights a week from midnight until 6 a.m., it will reach almost 2 million weekly listeners on more than 200 radio stations. The show will originate from the CMT Radio studio in Nashville and be available on iHeartRadio.

As the host and executive producer of CMT Radio Live With Cody Alan and CMT After MidNite With Cody Alan, Alan is one of the most recognized names in radio. With live interaction, he connects fans with their favorite stars from the red carpet to backstage. Combining his passion for entertainment with television, he also serves as host of CMT's signature music show, Hot 20 Countdown, airing Saturdays and Sundays at 11 a.m. ET/PT. He co-hosts CMT's weekend show, #1 Music and a Movie, and is a fixture at the industry's biggest events and awards shows.

Alan landed his first radio job at age 15 and made waves breaking Texas music at KPLX/Dallas (99.5 The Wolf), helping the station earn the designation as the No. 1 country station in the U.S. at the time. He has received numerous national awards including DJ of the year from Country Radio Broadcasters, the Academy of Country Music's 2010 and 2013 national on-air personality of the year and Radio & Records's music director of the year while Billboard magazine and the Radio Music Awards have honored him with the annual title, as well.
